POTENTIAL SYLLABUS: PRECALCULUS
Miss Hall's School
PRIMARY TEXT:
Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus, fourth edition, by James Stewart, Lothar Redlin, and
Saleem Watson.
There are 122 class meetings in the 20052006 academic year:
66 in the Fall term, and
56 in the Spring term
Precalculus Honors meets four days per week,
MTWF, with 50 minutes per class.
The objectives in parentheses, e.g. (FCT14), are more fully explained in the
Course Objectives List: Precalculus.
Emphasis should be on these course objectives. Additional material in the
text, that is not specified in the course objectives, may be covered at the
discretion of the instructor, as time permits.
