(9) Recognition of Contribution:

Specify if this work draws upon the intellectual property or substantive contributions of others who should be acknowledged and appropriately referenced.

Have I been influenced by other? Of course.
Would this work have been possible without the contributions of others? Definitely not.

Warren Esty was an early influence on the importance of the Language of Mathematics.

Donald E. Knuth, the creator of TeX, transformed my professional life for the first time, with the ability to easily produce proper mathematical notation.

O'Reilly Publishers and their “in-a-nutshell” books have enabled me to independently and efficiently learn lots of different needed technologies over the years.

The creators of MathML transformed my professional life for the second time, with the ability to produce proper mathematical notation on the web.

Design Science has very generously given MathPlayer—free of charge—to the world. MathPlayer “translates” the Math Markup Language for a PC + Internet Explorer environment; without it, my site wouldn't have been available to anyone.

Davide Cervone, the creator of jsMath (a precursor to MathJax) and lead developer of MathJax, is enabling an easy way to deliver mathematics to the world via the web, that makes the best use of “where we are” with current technologies.

I have been fortunate to have had many wonderful mathematics teachers over the years. From Mr. VanLund in high school to my graduate thesis advisor Professor Patrick Lang, I have had many who have shared with me their love and passion for mathematics.

My former husband Professor Robert J. Fisher, Jr., and my current husbandnot Karl Finger, have both been (in their own times) immensely supportive of my work. My daughter Julia has probably proof-read most every important word I've ever written (she's also a mathematics major, and is currently in graduate school studying neuro-linguistics). Everything I have out there is better because of her.

The beautiful “cat” graphic image on my homepage (and also used in several other places) is by a former advisee from Miss Hall's School, Hyun Sun Seo. I have obtained permission from her to use this graphic image. My drawing abilities are non-existent!

Except for these influences and support system, my website is all me. I've written every single piece of code and every single piece of exposition. So, there isn't any intellectual property or substantive contributions of others who would need to be acknowledged or referenced.
