walk forward, passing right shoulders
slide slightly to right (to restore original line)
remaining back-to-back, immediately walk backwards, passing left shoulders
slide slightly to left (to restore original line)

Basic 1

arms in natural dance position (no hand-hold)
move right/left shoulder slightly forward while passing on right/left
smooth motion; no changing facing direction
look each other in eyes at end of action
