TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE

A classic family dinner!
You can put it together early in the day, refrigerate, and bake in
time for dinner.
Serve with a salad or hot vegetable to add color to the plate.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 oz medium egg noodles
- 14 oz solid white albacore tuna, well-drained
- 1½ cup sour cream
- ¾ cup whole milk
- 68 fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced/chopped
- 23 stalks celery, washed and chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup Panko bread crumbs
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tb butter, melted
- grated mozzarella (to sprinkle on top)
- paprika (optional)
PREPARATION:

Heat oven to 350°F.

Fry mushrooms and celery in butter.

Cook noodles as directed on package; drain.

Return noodles to pan.
Stir in tuna, sour cream, milk, mushroom/celery mixture, salt and pepper.
Pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole.

Topping:
Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and melted butter.
Sprinkle over casserole.
Sprinkle grated mozzarella on top.
If desired, sprinkle with paprika.

Bake uncovered 3540 minutes or until bubbly.
