FINDING THE DOMAIN OF A FUNCTION FROM ITS GRAPH
  • Click anywhere in the GeoGebra window below to make it active.
  • Click on the typical point MoveMe to make it active.
  • Use your right and left arrow keys to move the point along the graph.
    Or, just drag the point along the graph.
  • Notice the $\,x$-values that are traced in red! This is the domain of the function.
    You need to figure out the endpoint conditions yourself; these are not obvious from the red trace.
  • You may double-click on the GeoGebra window to get a fully functioning window for further explorations.
  • Refresh this page at any time to restore it to its original configuration.
